Job Description

The Safe2choose and FindMyMethod social media community is looking for an English-speaking community manager. Depending on your experience, remuneration goes up to $800 per month. You will be required to work from Accra. You will work online, but you should be available for constant communication with the WFD (Women First Digital) team. Your work schedule with be decided based on your availability and WFD needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Women (trans included) and non-binary people
  • Should be available immediately to work 40-hours (full time) a week
  • Should be proficient in English
  • Should have excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Should have previous experience as a community manager or social media manager
  • Should have experience creating content
  • Should have in-depth knowledge using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok
  • Should be able to interpret analytics and community metrics
  • Should be able to use social media management tools like Hootsuite
  • Should have customer service experience
  • Should have experience in sexual and reproductive health
  • Should be able to work without supervision
  • Should have a computer and a smartphone with reliable internet access
  • Should have knowledge of medical abortion and family planning (desirable but not essential)
  • Should have sexual and reproductive health experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Should have knowledge of gender, feminism and women’s health (desirable but not essential)
