Ghana Ranks 91st Happiest Country Ahead Of Nigeria, India And China In World Happiness Report

Ghana has moved higher in the World Happiness Report 2020, Ghana is currently the 91st happiest country in the world. Last year we ranked at 98, meaning Ghana has moved 7 places higher in the ranking.

In a time where the whole world is at its knees to a very dangerous pandemic threatening our very existence, all we need now is some good news to brighten our saddened faces. The survey for the report, however, was conducted prior to the outbreak of the pandemic COVID-19

The World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of the state of global happiness that ranks 156 countries by how happy their citizens perceive themselves to be.

This year the World Happiness Report focuses especially on the environment – social, urban, and natural. So don’t be surprised if you see other countries ahead of Ghana.

Ghana was part of the Top 100 Most Happiest Country for 2020, Ghana ranked 91st ahead of the industrious China which ranked 94th, Nigeria also ranked 114th and the Tech advanced nation India also ranked 144th.

For the third year in a row, Finland has placed at the top of the list as the happiest country in the world, with Denmark coming in second, followed by Switzerland, which pushed Norway out of the top three this year.
