National Service Personnel Asked To Take Mandatory Paid-Leave

National Service Scheme

The National Service Secretariat has asked service persons to go on a mandatory paid leave.

This is part of the measures aimed at containing the spread of coronavirus.

This decision from the National Service Secretariat is based on the directive from the Public Services Commission’s directive that urged all interns, national service personnel, NABCO officers and other nonessential staff could take their leave.

However, this paid leave will replace the usual annual paid leave service persons are entitled to.
