VIDEO: Two Quarantined Ghanaians Refuse Police Order To Stay Indoors

The government, as part of preventive measures aimed at fighting the spread of coronavirus, has placed international travellers on a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

This affects all passengers, Ghanaian citizens or foreigners.

Two of such travellers who were put in quarantine, have now become a risk to their fellow travellers whom they have been quarantined with.

In a video that surfaced online, two men, one claims he is a science student and other claims he went to an African country on business, refused direct police orders to remain indoors.

The two gentlemen, especially the science student, claimed he was allowed to stay on the balcony of his quarantine room.

The other gentleman was also of the opinion that since the authorities have not properly briefed them, then he too can be outside. cannot independently confirm when this video was recorded.

However, as we reported earlier from our anonymous Ghanaian who is under quarantine, officials have briefed them on why they are under quarantine and for how long they would be in quarantine.
