Striking Images Of The Empty Streets In Accra Amid Coronavirus Scare

As the number of coronavirus cases increases, Ghanaians are taking safer precautions by staying indoors to avoid contact. This is to prevent them from contracting the novel coronavirus. The once busy streets of Accra are now bare with no one on them.

Pictures posted on twitter by renowned Sports Journalist, Michael Oti Adjei shows some popular streets in Accra being disserted.

The Pictures shows streets around the Ridge hospital (Castle Road), streets close to the National Theater(Liberia Road) and also Ring Road headed to Osu from the Polic Headquarters all empty.

In the post he captioned ” The Sights on some Accra’s major roads on the walk this morning”.

The number of cases of people with coronavirus has increased to 19 as of a report published by Kuulpeeps.com.

Out of the nineteen cases reported so far, only three are said to be community spread cases.

Ghanaians are however advised to adhere to all preventive measure and reminded to contact these number 050 949 7700 & 055 843 9868 incase of any signs of Covid-19 or if one has come into contact with a patient.
