In addressing the nation this evening, President Akufo-Addo declared Wednesday 25th March as a Day of prayer and fasting.
This forms part of Ghana’s coronavirus response.
The president is appealing to all Ghanaians from all religious backgrounds to observe a day of prayer and fasting to seek the face of God in this time of a pandemic.
This comes after Ghana recorded its first death case due to coronavirus.
Ghanaians are, however, advised to adhere to all preventive measures and reminded to contact 050 949 7700 & 055 843 9868 incase of any signs of Covid-19 or if one has come into contact with a patient.
