The coronavirus infection has affected almost all spheres of life.
From family life to work life and even more.
The churches and other mass gathering events have been shut down by the government.
With churches shut down, one key thing that will be affected is their revenue stream.
The offertory, tithes, pledges and donations might cease.
However, Harvest Chapel International has closed that loophole.
The church has announced that it would stop accepting hard currency.
“As part of measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus, we encourage all to use our digital payment options to send their offerings, tithes, pledges and donations,” a statement of the church read.
The options include a bank account and various mobile money platform from the telecommunications companies as well as Ecobank Pay.
