These are serious times and while there is no need to cause fear and panic, health experts have also advised that Ghanaians obey rules and regulations developed as coronavirus preventive measures.
Among these preventive measures is a ban on church activities and social gatherings of more than 25 people.
It has been reported that the head pastor of the Open Arms Ministry in the Ashanti Region, Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie has been arrested after defying President Akufo-Addo’s directive.
The pastor was holding a church service with a congregation that is believed to be more than 25 as prescribed President Akufo-Addo’s directive.
It is unclear whether the pastor will be prosecuted since Parliament has not yet passed the President’s directives into law.
