CCTU: All Students Are To Vacate School Premises By End Of Day Today


The President of the Republic of Ghana, his Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has directed that all Schools be shut down.

Management, therefore, on behalf of the Academic Board, and in consultation with the Chairman of the University Council, wishes to inform the University Community, Staff, Students and the General Public that all Academic Activities on the Cape Coast Technical University Campus have been suspended for four (4) weeks with effect from Monday, March 16, 2020.

This is part of the measures to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19).

The underlisted Sections, however, will continue to provide essential services:

i. University Clinic

ii. Estate

iii. Security

All students are kindly expected to vacate the University Hall by Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Should there be any change in the current arrangement, the University community and other stakeholders will be duly informed.

All are entreated to comply with the above directives accordingly.
