Sierra Leonean singer, Joseph Amos Bangura, AKA Mos Bhas, has released a song to sensitize people about coronavirus.
The song is called war against corona.
He told the BBC Focus on Africa programme that he wanted to use his voice to “raise awareness” :
Quote Message: I wrote the song because there’s a global concern. I know what Ebola did in Africa, as a singer I like to use my voice, to raise awareness and sympathise with victims of the coronavirus.”

He also stated coronavirus is a war against humanity, however, everyone needs to obey and follow the preventive measures set to be able to help fight coronavirus.
When asked if releasing the song makes him opportunistic, he claimed he has been doing this for along, when there was war in Sierra Leone he wrote a song to bring peace which got the attention of the President and some international organizations. he further said this is his way of giving back to society and to educate people through his music.
