KNUST Issues Guidelines On Coronavirus Pandemic

In light of Ghana confirming its first two cases of the novel coronavirus, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as an institution has issued guidelines that students can follow to prevent the spread of the virus.

The Health Ministry, yesterday announced that the country had recorded two positive cases of the virus. The Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah also announced that the persons involved are a Norwegian Embassy Official and a Turkey-based Ghanaian who returned to visit.

The university also advised members of the university community to remain calm and follow all the safety measures as well as other measures published by the University Hospital, the Ghana Health Services and the Ministry of Health to help contain the spread of the infection.
