In the wake of Ghana recording its first case of coronavirus, there have been calls for Ghanaians to be more aware of the preventive measures and symptoms in order to avert the spread of the virus.
Last night, the health minister confirmed that two people have tested positive for the virus in Ghana.
The minister for information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has also revealed that one of them is Ghanaian while the other is a Norwegian citizen. According to him the Ghanaian citizen works abroad and returned to Ghana for a visit with the disease.
Below are the symptoms and how to spot them:

Fever: In adults, a body temperature of 100.4°F or higher.
Sneezing: A natural reaction to viruses that infect your respiratory system.
Dry cough: No phlegm or mucus. May feel itchy or irritated.
Shortness of breath: Seems to begin after a week of infection. Feels like you can’t get enough air into your lungs to comfortably breathe.
