VIDEO: Schoolchildren In The US Celebrate Ghana’s Independence

San Diego, California Navy Base,

Last Friday (March 6), Ghana celebrated its 63rd Independence Day.

A mega Independence day parade was held in Kumasi and other celebrations in countries all over the world by the Ghanaian communities.

In the United States of America, schoolchildren also celebrated Ghana’s Independence.

It was a celebration of Ghanaian culture through music, dance and fashion.

The schoolchildren at San Diego, California Navy Base were dressed in red, yellow and green polo shirts with the Kente cloth wrapped around their waist.

The schoolchildren carried out cultural display near their school and gathered onlookers who were just happy to have witnessed the performance.
