UG: The Shuttle Fares Have Been Reduced And It Is For A Limited Period

Management of the Road Safety and Transportation Consultancy Limited (RSTC), a company providing shuttling services to members of the University of Ghana has announced a reduction in its fares.

This reduction in shuttle fare is only for the month of March 2020 and is available on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Within this period, students will now pay GHC 0.80p per trip instead of the regular GHC 1.00.
According to the chief executive officer of the RSTC, Dr Godfred Akyea-Darkwah, this special offer is to reward patrons of their services.

“We’re giving a 20% discount on our services to our customers, not excluding the students on Wednesdays and Fridays in the month of March because of Ghana’s Independence. Without Ghana, we wouldn’t be where we are.

Therefore we are giving this promotion to all who patronize RSTC services,” he told UniversNews
Dr Godfred Akyea-Darkwah further added that the promotion is also to remind students about the presence of RSTC on-campus.
