Marince Omario Debuts New Single “Oxford St” Off His Yet To Be Released Project “Oblitey”

Marince Omario has debuted his single for the year “Oxford St.”. The song is off his upcoming project “Oblitey”. The sound heard in the song is a new kind of genre, Fu(pronounced Few) it is a blend of different genres of music.

Conceptually, the song is set in modern-day Accra where Marince Omario plays the main character describing living on the streets of Accra. Inspired by the life and culture around Osu Oxford Street Accra, it is part of a forthcoming project dubbed Oblitey which is centered around the Ga culture in Accra Ghana.

On this project, Marince Omario embodies the lead “Oblitey” A young Ga man who tells his story and teaches his Ga cultural roots to listeners.” Oxford St” falls perfectly in its newly found genre Fu, he created the genre from influences from listening to various genres growing up.
