On Friday, 7th February 2020, the Student Representative Council (SRC) had a general assembly at the school’s main auditorium. The main purpose of the general assembly was to know the current state of the SRC; accomplished projects and pending ones under the Joseph Adomako led administration.

The JOB administration made mention of some notable achievements under their administration. Some of which are;

Leasing off the burden from students by implementing the re-sit policy which freshly begun during the vacation. Not only did they lease off the burden but also advocate for a reduction in the amount from forty-seven Ghana Cedi (GHC 47.00) per credit hour to a Hundred Ghana Cedis (100.00) per paper.

Advocating for the construction of boreholes of which one has been completed and duly connected to the new hostel.

Advocating for the introduction of sim cards of 1500MB of data and its related packages to each student and many other projects.

 The SRC president in his address also highlighted some challenges facing them of which we know the quite challenging ones are inadequate chairs and lecture halls. He went ahead to lay down some projects to be done by the SRC this semester before the change of baton.

In attendance at the general meeting was the Chief Justice of the school, the Speaker of Parliament and his deputies, the LNUGS president and his executives, parliamentarians and other SRC executives.
