Trigmatic has urged all young people in Ghana to contribute towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He also advised the youth to volunteer and take advantage of opportunities at different United Nation (UN) agencies, like UNFPA, that seek to advance the development of young people.
Trigmatic said this at an Orange Loft Twitter Chat program which was hosted by the World Food Program (WFP) in collaboration with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Youth Leader Fellows. The goal was to promote young people’s knowledge on the SDGs particularly Nutrition, Food Security and Youth Empowerment.
He further called on the government to include the youth in decision making.
“I think one thing that can help the youth is creating that sane environment, an environment full of opportunities and a space to create and the space to innovate,” Trigmatic said.
“We need to create available hubs for them to come in and connect with like-minded people.
“We need to also create their interest in wanting to find solutions to national problems and even problems across borders,” he added.
