African Games gold medalist Benjamin Azamati is already doing amazing stuff at his new school, West Texas A&M University. Azamati transferred from the University of Ghana to West Texas A&M in the US about three weeks ago.

In his first career race, which was also his first-ever indoor season for West Texas A&M, Azamati broke the school’s 60-metre dash record. He made a time of 6.69 secs and is tied for the fastest time in the country.

Benjamin took to Twitter to thank God for the achievement. “Never Question Greatness,” he wrote.

Benjamin Azamati participated at the just ended GUSA Games where he won gold in the men’s 100m final.

He is also a member of Ghana’s 4X100 men’s relay team that won gold at the 2019 African Games.
