On Thursday, 50 Cent received his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In his speech upon getting the star, the 44-year-old took a shot at goth-pop band Evanescence for walking off with the Best New Artist award at the 2004 Grammys. But he also used the event to settle one of his beefs, confirming that one of the many people who owed him money had finally paid him back.
In a post on Instagram, 50 Cent announced that Michael Blackson had taken care of his debt. “Me and @michaelblackson chilling he finally gave me my money back,” he wrote. “Now we all good for Tycoon in Dallas it lit.”
Blackson, sensing an opportunity to make a joke, replied to the picture Fif shared. “Now that I no longer owe you can I borrow some money?” he asked in the comments.
Last year, 50 Cent claimed that Blackson, among countless others, owed him money after a visit to a strip club. “I knew I shouldn’t had took anything from this n***a, it’s been four days your money expired Curtis Jackson,” Blackson said after 50 announced the debt to the world. Obviously the two were able to put aside the money issues and sort out their friendship.
