Jay Cliff started the year and the decade on a good note by dropping his debut Ep “Twelve2Five“. What makes this Ep special is the fact that it tackles social issues and raises awareness for mental health among the youth.
Jay Cliff’s love for R&B, alte music, and Hip-Hop allows him to create a very distinctive and unique sound that makes his music appealing.
Jay Cliff describes Twelve2Five as a time ‘we most feel alive.’ That period between 12 am to 5 am that has become popular on social media as a period where people are allowed to freely pour out their emotions unbothered. It’s slowly become a culture termed as ‘Hours’ and there are people who actually look forward to exposing their vulnerable side during that period.
The Tape covers a range of topics from suicide to sexual harassment to bad habits to loneliness. These topics are constantly shunned by the public and when one shows signs of these, they are termed as weak.

The Tape features the likes of Raphaela, BryanTheMensah, Bully, and the Queen herself Efya.
The production and mastering of the project were done by BryanTheMensah and Supa Gaeta.
