Sarkodie’s Adonai Remix Video Is Now The First GH Music Video To Hit 70 Million Views On Youtube

The Sark Nation has yet another reason to scream that their King, Sarkodie is the G.O.A.T.

The remix to Sarkodie’s famous song, Adonai which features Castro has now officially reached 70 Million views on Youtube.

This is an exciting feat because this is the first time a video from a Ghanaian Artiste has surpassed 70 Million views on Youtube. The Adonai video which was first released in June 2014 was directed by Nana Kofi Asihene, a well known and seasoned video director behind most of the popular music videos by our favourite Ghanaian artistes.

Naturally, the Sark Natives on Twitter are excited by the news:

The Adonai remix is undoubtedly one of Ghanaians’ favourite songs. The song has been played several times and is still being played at various functions. Most people say the Castro effect on the song is what makes it so good and others maintain that Sarkodie delivered some of the best verses on it.

Whatever the secret ingredient is, the two gave us a timeless song and we are so proud of the rapper, Sarkodie and his amazing feature, Castro who mysteriously disappeared on 6th July in 2014 at Ada during a trip with his friends.
