Most of the key government officials, including President Nana Akufo-Addo, are currently in London attending the UK-Africa Investment Summit.
The investment summit is focused on channelling aid money into mutually beneficial trade transactions between the United Kingdom and its African partners.
The government has signed a deal with Event Horizon Entertainment Ltd, the organizers of Afro Nation to exclusively host the event in Ghana for the next five years. That means from now till 2025, Afro Nation Ghana will be occurring every December.
However, beyond entertainment, the government has also signed deals worth £326.8 million with UK based companies for various developmental projects.

BHM £80.3m work on the Tema-Aflao Road Project in Ghana.
Contracta Construction UK wins £120.5m export contract to upgrade the Kumasi Teaching Hospital in Ghana.
Contracta Construction UK wins £40m export contract to develop Kumasi airport in Ghana.
Tyllium and Ellipse win an export contract worth £60m to provide 250 new beds for a general hospital in Koforidua in Ghana.
