GFA Prez Kurt Okraku Appointed To CAF Committee

Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kurt Okraku has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to serve as a member of the Organisation Committee of the African Cup of Nations. Mr Okraku will serve as a member of the committee for a 4-year term.

Kurt Okraku took over from Kwesi Nyantakyi as Ghana’s FA President after an investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas revealed incidents of bribery and corruption that marred football in Ghana.

Other GFA executives and officials who have also been appointed to serve on various CAF committees include GFA Vice-President Mark Addo and Former GFA President Alhaji M.N.D Jawula.

GFA Vice-President Mark Addo will serve as a member of the CAF U-17 Organising Committee, while Alhaji M.N.D Jawula will serve on the CAF organising committer for inter-club competitions and Management of the club licensing system for a second term.

GFA Executive Committee member Ransford Abbey has also been appointed to serve on the Committee for Legal Affairs and National Association.
