Ok… so you went to bed yesterday when Twitter was debating whether or not you want your bae to text or talk on the phone with you all the time?
Are you the type that wouldn’t mind to go a day or two without texting or talking with your bae on the phone or you are the type that was consistent constant communication all the time?
Well… you might have formed an opinion then went to bed…
Then you woke up this morning to tweets about World War III and you’re confused.
Well, let’s tell how we went from relationship conversation to world war three.
It was reported this dawn that Iran’s most powerful military commander, General Qasem Soleimani, has been killed by a US airstrike in Iraq.
The 62-year-old spearheaded Iranian military operations in the Middle East as head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, according to the BBC.
He was killed at Baghdad airport, along with other Iran-backed militia figures, early on Friday in a strike ordered by US President Donald Trump.
Soleimani’s killing marks a major escalation in tensions between the US and Iran.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said: “severe revenge awaits the criminals” behind the attack. He also announced three days of national mourning, the BBC reports.
As the world now awaits how Iran will respond to this US attack, most people on Twitter are assuming that the Iranian response could usher in World War III.
Who do you think will win such a war? The US or Iran?
Should they even go to war?
