If you are a teacher at any secondary school in the country, then you have a chance of joining The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) programme.

The Fulbright TEA Programme, according to the US Embassy, brings international secondary-level teachers to the United States for a six-week programme to take academic seminars for professional development at a host university and to observe and share their expertise with teachers and students at the host university and at local secondary schools.

General academic seminars focus on new teaching methodologies, student-centred learning, content-based instruction, lesson planning, and instructional technology training for teachers. 

To participate in the Fulbright TEA programme, you be a full-time secondary school teacher who teaches English, English as a Foreign Language (EFL), math, science, or special education at institutions serving primarily a local population.

You must also have a minimum of five years of teaching experience by the start of the program. Pre-service practicum years are not included in the five-year minimum. Also, you should be planning to continue working in secondary education for at least five years after the conclusion of the program.

Online Application for the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program is opened until February 28, 2020. This program brings international secondary-level teachers to the United States for a six-week program to take academic seminars for professional development at a host university and to observe and share their expertise with teachers and students at the host university and at local secondary schools.
