High Court To Hear Law Students Case Against Attorney-General And GLC This Friday

Protesting law students

The case between the National Association of Law Students and the Attorney-General including the Ghana Legal Council(GLC) is set to be heard in a High Court this Friday, December, 20.

The law students sued the Attorney-General and the GLC for years of mass failure at the Ghana Law School entrance exam.

Last September, a number of aggrieved students took to the streets to protest against the opaque nature of the law school entrance exam.

The students are asking the court to declare a number of GLC actions as unlawful. This includes students asked to accept and not question the results published by the GLC.

Also, they want the GLS to publish the procedure for students to request remarking of their papers.

This case will hopefully bring some closure to all involved.
