Paramount has given Sonic the Hedgehog a new trailer ahead of its revised release date.

As you’ll recall, the Jeff Fowler-directed adaptation of the popular Sega franchise was originally slated for a Nov. 8 release date. Those plans, however, were abandoned following the negative response the design of this cinematic take on the character received earlier this year.

Thank you for the support. And the criticism,” Fowler said at the time. “The message is loud and clear… You aren’t happy with the design [and] you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount [and] Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be.”

Later that same month, Fowler announced the film’s new Valentine’s Day release date:
