The Jubilee House has dismissed rumours that President Nana Akufo-Addo was rushed to the Nyaho Medical Center to receive medical care.

According to the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, the president did not visit the hospital to receive medical care.

Eugene Arhin told Adom FM in an interview that President Akufo Addo went to Nyaho Medical Center to visit a sick NPP executive.

According to Arhin, as the President’s convoy entered the medical centre, people saw it and falsely claimed that the president was rushed to the hospital.

In the video, three presidential cars with one decorated with the Ghana flag and the country’s coat of arm can be seen making their way into the health facility which is located in the Airport Residential Area.

Security personnel including Police dispatch riders can be seen around the facility providing the necessary security for the president.
