It was all fun and glamour last night at the National Theatre during the Miss Malaika 2019 grand finale.
The final 10 delegates were presented to the crowd right at the beginning of the event.
Each delegate answered certain humanitarian questions and why they should be crowned Miss Malaika 2019.
The first award of the night went to Fynnba as she was announced winner of the talent hunt. She was one of 3 delegates who were shortlisted to compete for this award.
Mbord was also voted by the delegates as Miss Congeniality. This award was given to the delegate who was fun to be with.
The delegates were later cut down to the final 5 which consisted of Mbord, Phylis, Alma, Habiba and Kimberline.
Each of the final 5 delegates touched on a social humanitarian project they will undertake if they crowned Miss Malaika 2019.
The moment everyone had been waiting for finally came and Habiba Bint-Abdallah was announced as the second runner up. Mbord Astanga was announced as the first runner up and Phylis Boison was crowned Miss Malaika 2019.
The show saw performances from Dope Nation, Kelvynboy, Adina, Medikal and Kuami Eugene as a surprise act.
