Two students of the Edo State Polytechnic in Nigeria have been expelled for allegedly having sex in one of the lecture halls.
The expelled students, Faiodun Olabode and Ediae Silvia were both students of the Mass Communication Department.
The students, whose activities were against the ethics of the institution, were expelled from all academic activities.
A statement from the university authorities said the students should never be seen on the school’s premises.
The statement by the university registrar, Sinire O. Cyril, conveying the verdict said the school had zero tolerance for sexual immoralities and related activities.
