Energy Minister John-Peter Amewu has reached out to dancehall musician, Stonebwoy to help up and coming artists in his constituency in the Hohoe Municipality develop their talents, Asiwome Writes reports.
According to Asiwome, John-Peter Amewu who is also the 2020 NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Hohoe constituency had a meeting with Stonebwoy at his residence in Hohoe to discuss how the talents of promising musicians in the constituency can be developed as part of his capacity-building agenda in the area.
“The message is simple, we need music superstars in the Hohoe municipality. Building capacity is my agenda,” the energy minister, Hon. John Peter Amewu stated.
In a related development, Stonebwoy has disclosed his intention to build a standard auditorium in the Volta Region.
According to him, the building of an auditorium in the Volta Region is a project he aims at carrying out and has been discussing the project with prominent people “to see how we can be able to put an auditorium here that will be like an international standard auditorium that will help us to host big events here as well.”
