Twitter Is Shredding Kylie Jenner For Trying To Trademark ‘Rise And Shine’

The meme about Kris Jenner working harder than the devil has never been more relevant after TMZ claimed Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Kylie Jenner had filed a trademark for ‘rise and shine’.

Kylie became a singing sensation last week [18 October] when a clip from her Kylie Cosmetics office tour went viral. In it, she takes a camera crew into Stormi’s room, flips the lights on, and sings “rise and shine” to an already-awake Stormi, while a camera-person has been standing in the dark. It’s amazing.

And while Kylie hilariously trolled herself over the video last week, the star has now apparently submitted an application to trademark the three words, to cover products like “belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, sleepwear, socks, swimwear, and undergarments as well as cosmetics.”

Is it still allowed to be stuck in our heads, though?

Kylie has already released two hoodies with “riiise and shiiinnee” and Kylie’s face surrounded by sun on the front, which sold out for $65 a pop, which shows people are still living for the hilarious moment.

But judging by the general reaction on Twitter, many users don’t find the trademarking business so funny – and fans have been tearing into Kylie on Twitter.
