Ugh, we love a King who loves his African women.

Sarkodie’s verse on the BET Cypher was crazy and everyone can confidently say there was absolutely nothing wrong with his delivery, style and importantly the message.

Everyone’s talking about Sarkodie’s message on Pan Africanism in the cypher and we are forced to believe that, that and his speech at the BET Awards ceremony pushed Chance The Rapper to tweet about coming to Ghana.

Now, aside Sarkodie telling us Africans to free ourselves, he had some really important message for African women.

He rapped about how important self-love is to all the ‘hunnies on the block’. He literally warned the black woman to stop using bleaching creams and embrace their melanin.

He also rapped about how Black Women have been conditioned to think the White man’s portrayal of beauty is the best. To be honest, that is what is plaguing most women today, causing them to bleach and do the most just to look a particular way.

He basically asks women to accept their flaws, to love their body and skin and allow themselves to be worshipped like the Black Queens they are.

The line, “Don’t let anyone tell you you aren’t beautiful cos you are black” needs to be projected and shown to every young black woman EVERYWHERE!

A king who appreciates the Queens…

Titi has an amazing father who will teach her something most women didn’t get to learn, growing up and our hearts are full knowing his daughter is going to grow up to become a stunning young Queen who will never let anyone knock her crown off her head!!
