Yesterday, we reported that the University of Cape Coast had been flooded following hours of a torrential downpour.
Major parts of the university were flooded forcing students and lecturers to remains indoors for safety reasons.
As the situation worsened, the university’s authorities issued a statement suspending lectures and quizzes.
In what many say is the worst flood to have occurred in the university, some students lost their properties as the water gathered in their rooms.
Today, as the water has receded, teaching and learning have resumed.
Students are already filling up lecture halls as they prepare for today’s lectures and quizzes.
They are back to the grind.
All the best to these amazing students!
