Here’s A Recap Of The ‘People’s Jam’ At The Just Ended UPSA SRC Akwaaba Week Celebration

Darkovibes didn't just perform, he surprised us with another artiste!

UPSA had its Akwaaba Week celebration last week and students are still thinking about the great week they had.

There was the amazing Afro Carnival which came with good music, face painting, great food and good vibes.

The most anticipated night of all was the artiste night and we could not wait to see who was going to come make us enjoy the climax of the SRC Akwaaba week.

Hours to the concert, the artistes were officially announced by GhOne and reported by  and honestly, the artistes did everything they could to let the night live up to the name students and the SRC had given the night… The People’s Jam.

Fameye’s ‘Notin I Get’ was sang loudly by every single student at the concert

Every single artiste showed up with some extra surprise from not just one but two artistes. King Promise surprised us with a crazy performance! You could hear the girls screaming all the way from Legon (just kidding)!

The rising young artistes from UPSA also did a great job introducing their music to us but things got heated when Sheldon The Turn Up, MC for the night, turned the place up!!! For a moment, we thought Shatta Wale had come to surprise us because the way Sheldon performed the Dancehall’s King’s songs made us all jam so hard…if we closed after that, no one would have complained!

Sheldon The Turn Up was the best MC we could ever ask for

Darkovibes’ performance as also memorable. Y’all know we sang his songs word for ord ith him and when he surprised us with Spacely, one of the La Meme Gang members, we all screamed till our throats hurt. Spacely performed Digits but it was when the two performed Stables and Godzilla that we realized that UPSA students know how to jam!

Enam came with all the spice at the ‘People’s Jam’

Tulekeny sent the longest time on stage and we understood because…who does not love the president of Ghana’s Fvck Boys association?? We could have performed his Fvck boys’ anthem over and over again and there was no way we would have been tired!

Tulenkey dey worry! His performance could have lasted the whole night

The other artistes brought out their best too! Enam, Kelvynboy, Fameye and more turned the place up with their performances!

Kelvynboy came with all the sugar

Every single artiste killed their performance and there’s o way anyone has forgotten about the People’s Jam.

We jam ankasa and e cannot wait to do it again!
