It’s time for another throwback music but this time, let’s throwback to Kofi Mole’s EP which deserves endless play.
The young rapper/singer dropped an EP two weeks ago titled “Aporsor Love.”
We were first impressed with the album art he dropped and honestly, it gave us life seeing him surrounded with flowers as he shakes the table of toxic masculinity!!!
The rapper first caught everyone’s attention when he dropped Mensah with Kwesi Arthur. The hyped song that became a must-play at every event last year won every young person’s heart, earning him a spot on the Kuulpeeps Emergers 2019.
Mole has been making music for a while but since his breakout, this would be his first project.
He has explained that the EP was birthed out of love. (Bless whoever made the Aporsor Gangster catch feelings) and he has defined “Aposor Love” which he defines as “the type of love you can’t resist, a love you let take control of you, and an experience you enjoy.”
‘Aporsor Love’ is immaculately presented as a whole package of love. From the album art to the songs…the running theme on this 5 track EP is love.
He crooned about all forms of feelings we have all definitely experienced before on each song: The type of love that makes people go crazy on Don’t Be Late, the one you aren’t even supposed to be feeling on Bestie and the hurtful feeling of being unappreciated by the love of your life on Obi Pe.
It’s impressive how Kofi Mole first came off as a hardened rap killer with bars and is currently showing us his more mellow and sweet side on ‘Aporsor Love’. We love how he’s handling his craft and honestly, even though this is new music, we cannot wait for even more new music!
