The rate of unemployment in Ghana keeps increasing even though the government has tried to reduce it by creating more jobs.
But, you can’t just sit at home because there are no jobs. There are a lot of free training programs that are being undertaken in the country.
Here are some free training opportunities:
The World Bank has invested $1.5m in Ghana Tech Hub in partnership with the Accra Digital Centre to give young Ghanaians free training in robotics, photography and information technology.
The Ghana Tech Hub is not the only organisation which is giving free training to young Ghanaians.
The No Business As Usual Project in Kumasi is also giving free training to the youth. The NBU Project Invests in the youth to improve sustainable local economic development and expand job creation in the Asokore Mampong Municipality
The Ho Node Hub in Ho also helps young people discover career opportunities in Digital Health.
The Ghana Tech Lab has an open collaborative co-working space where individuals and start-ups can work independently in a shared office space. The co-working space has desks and tables to work on and it also has free internet access. It’s open to everyone.
