#SexForGrades: Nigerians React To Dr Boniface’s Actions In The BBC Exposé

The BBC documentary on lecturers harassing students for sex is yet to be premiered but so much has happened in just a few hours.

BBC Africa Eye released an excerpt from the exposé earlier today which implicated the Ghanaian lecturers, Dr Ransford Gyampo and Dr Butakor and Nigerian lecturer, Dr Boniface

Social media has been in a frenzy ever since the videos went viral.

Nigeria, for instance, is reacting heavily to the news of Dr Boniface, a lecturer and pastor making inappropriate requests from a 17-year old who wanted help, getting admission into the University of Lagos (Unilag).

Some are sympathetic and think that people should be considerate before lashing out at him

Others think he needs to burn for praying and asking to kiss a 17-year-old as was shown in the video

He has since been indefinitely suspended from the university and his church has publicly asked him to step down from his ministerial position.
