#SexForGrades: Dr Boniface Igbeneghu Asked By Church To Step Down From All Ministerial Assignments 


Dr Boniface Igbeneghu, a lecturer at the University of Lagos who is also a pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria has been asked by the church to step down from all ministerial assignments after he was implicated in a BBC Africa Eye Exposé on Sex For Grades.

According to a statement released by The Foursquare Gospel Church, “as a holiness and Bible-believing Church, we do not condone such heinous and unscriptural act among our ministers.”

“We totally dissociate ourselves from the purported act of Dr Igbeneghu and promise to take appropriate measure as soon as the ongoing investigation is concluded,” the statement added.

Dr Boniface Igbeneghu has also been suspended indefinitely by the University of Lagos.
