2019 BET Hip Hop Awards: Sarkodie Wins Best International Flow Award


Sarkodie has been announced as the winner of the Best International Flow award at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards which was held on October 5, 2019, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Georgia, United States.

This, however, makes Sarkodie the first winner of the Best International Flow award – a category which was introduced this year.

Sarkodie beat stiff competition from the likes of Falz (Nigeria), Nasty C (South Africa) to win the award.

In his acceptance speech, Sarkodie was grateful to God and dedicated the award to his daughter, Titi. He also used the opportunity to promote the Year of Return. He encouraged people all over the world to visit Ghana this year.

” I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home,” the rapper said.
