TV3 has decided to bring TV3 Mentor back to our screens after 7 years of going on break. It uncovered a lot of talented artistes, such as Becca, Kesse, Nii Soul and more.
TV3 launched Mentor 8 and unveiled the new judges: Adina Thembi, Trigmatic and Bessa Simons.
But not everyone seems to be pleased.
After the judges were unveiled, Nii Soul, a past contestant of Mentor asked the organizers why they chose singer, Adina. He acknowledged her good work but felt that she wasn’t the right person.
He added that there are past contestants doing so well and it would have been beautiful if TV3 used one of their own as a judge. Adina was the winner of ‘Stars of the Future’ in 2008. Nii Soul believes that another show or brand will not call TV3’s past contestants to their show for anything.
Maybe he’s right…maybe it doesn’t really matter. Watch him express his sentiments here:

Former Mentor contestant, Nii Soul rises against the use of songstress Adina as judge for Mentor season 8. According to him, instead of using a product of Mentor’s competitor, the organizers of the reality show should’ve used its own past contestants because there was no way Charterhouse which nurtured Adina would use a Mentor contestant as a judge on its reality show. Does he have a point or he’s just bleeding! Let’s discuss
The new season of the TV3 mentor will be called ‘TV3 Mentor Reloaded.’
