Kanye West doesn’t have to just visit Wyoming anymore—now, he can live there.
Ye has purchased a property called Monster Lake Ranch, TMZ reports. The asking price for the land was $14 million and is located outside of Cody, Wyoming.
The ranch has eight lodging units, two freshwater lakes, a restaurant, an event centre, meeting facilities, and is known for its “monster trout” fishing. It also has horse barns, corrals, and horses—and Cody is known as the “rodeo capital of the world.”
According to TMZ, Ye didn’t pay full price for the property, though it’s unclear how much he did pay. The land is over 9,000 acres, 4,500 of which he owns, with the rest leased from the federal government.
In a video posted by TeamKanyeDaily, it looks like Ye is there now, driving around his new property on an ATV.

West is reportedly there to finish up his new album Jesus Is King, which Kim Kardashian teased last month. The album will purportedly drop on Sept. 27. TMZ reports that Pusha T has also joined Ye in Wyoming. He posted the following from Cody:

Happy 40th to the shot caller and play maker of my musical journey. This is a milestone birthday for you that falls in line with all that you’ve accomplished and achieved from being a visionary and on the pulse of everything worth knowing abt. Smile harder, laugh louder, and drive faster!!! When you’ve hustled the game as you have, it’s only right that you drown in success. Love you my brother… @stevenvictor (you see my location so you know the dealership is calling)
Kanye and Kim might have alluded to the purchase of the ranch earlier this week, during an interview for Vogue Arabia where Yeezy interviewed Kim. When Ye asked her, “It’s a bit of a cliché but how do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?”
She answered: “I see us living on a ranch in Wyoming, occasionally going to Palm Springs and our home in Los Angeles—and becoming a lawyer.”
Kanye’s purchase could also hint at comments he made last May about wanting to “be one of the biggest real-estate developers of all time.”
“I’m going to build five properties, so it’s my first community, I’m getting into development…It’s just the next frontier for me, to develop,” West told Charlamagne Tha God, while walking through West’s sprawling Calabasas estate.
“We’re standing on my first property. So I’m going to be one of the biggest real-estate developers of all time—what Howard Hughes was to aircrafts and what Henry Ford was to cars. Just the relationships I have with architects, my understanding of space and sacred proportions, just this new vibe, this new energy…We gonna develop cities.”
