The amazing and talented DJ, DJ Switch has added another award to her already impressive collection.
Last weekend, DJ Switch won the award for Entertainment and Community Development at the 2019 Child Summit and Award.
The entertainer said she was dedicating her award to “all the children in South Africa,” adding that she hopes to “witness Peace and unity on the land of Africa.”
This comes after the renewed xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
Last week, South Africans attacked African migrants, especially Nigerians. They burned down their shops and physically attacked others.
Three Ghanaians were injured and an additional five Ghanaians were arrested by South African police.
Yesterday it emerged that a Ghanaian footballer who lives in South Africa was shot in the leg.
DJ Switch’s award dedication also throws more light on the already sad issue in South Africa.
