A Complete Timeline Of The Alleged Stonebwoy, Blakk Cedi And Kelvyn Boy Beef

Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy and Kelvyn Boy

Stonebwoy, one of Ghana’s leading Dancehall artistes, his protege, the rising afrobeats artiste, Kelvynboy and his manager, Blakk Cedi, have been trending for the past few days – for the wrong reasons.

According to reports, it all started with the rumours that Stonebwoy is allegedly unhappy with how Blakk Cedi, his manager, is promoting Kelvynboy.

In an interview with Hitz Fm, Blakk Cedi admitted and mentioned that there is a commotion in the Burniton Music Group record label

“I won’t tell a lie, there is a storm in the BhimNation Camp but we will overcome it, we have not parted ways, everything will be alright soon,” he said.

However, reports came, saying that Blakk Cedi is allegedly mismanaging Stonebwoy’s funds, most likely, spending it all on Kelvyn Boy. The ‘Kpoo Keke’ hitmaker is said to have questioned Blakk Cedi about using his funds for works relating to Kelvynboy and this is what sparked the ‘commotion’ among them.

Reports also stated that Kelvynboy was never signed to BHIM Nation but rather, he was signed and managed by Blakk Arm Group, a record label which is owned by Blakk Cedi.

O.V music, another signee to the BHIM label, also commented on the issue just recently, in an interview with Zionfelix. She stated that Blakk Cedi having his own record label doesn’t stop them from being one big family and admitted that she knew Blakk Cedi owns Blakk Arm Group but denied there are any problems within the team.

Kelvynboy, amidst the speculations, posted a picture of him on Instagram with a cryptic message:

“The same God will prove dem very wrong.”

This post came after Stonebwoy reportedly unfollowed Kelvyn Boy on Instagram. A quick check on Stonebwoy’s following confirmed that the Dancehall artiste does not follow Kelvyn Boy even though Kelvynboy still follows him!

Yesterday, Stonebwoy posted something on Twitter which many believe is a response to the ongoing rumoured beef between him and Blakk Cedi.

In a new development, Stonebwoy’s wife is reportedly being an instigator in this beef. According to former Zylofon Music PRO Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Stonebwoy’s wife, Dr Louisa Ansong is a big part of the beef as well.

In an interview with ZionFelix, Baidoo said the beef started during the ‘Shuga’ European tour when some transactions failed to clear (money issues).

He stressed that the second reason related to the beef over Kelvynboy and other artists on Stonebwoy’s label is that, Louisa has been trying to influence Stonebwoy’s career and management and that is what has brought a rare fight between the two parties.

The sources added that although Blakk Cedi and Stonebwoy are usually on tour together, the former is already in Ghana while the latter is still in London for the ‘Shuga tour’.
