Collaboration is no longer bound to the physical as modern creative partnerships are formed from various corners of the world. Take, for example, L.A.-based artist Sunni Colón and NYC-based photographer Joshua Kissi. Though operating in distinctly separate mediums — and places — the pair is analogous in how they express themselves creatively. For the frequent collaborators, staying in touch from across the country is more seamless than ever. Louis Vuitton‘s Tambour Horizon watch provides them with features such as “Louis Vuitton City Guide,” “My Travel” and other Wear OS by Google-powered features, right on their wrists.
With the release of Colón’s latest song, “Supernova,” the artist and Kissi have been working across coasts to conceptualize the single’s accompanying visuals. Together, the two creatives melded their experiences, taste and aesthetic with help from the timepiece. Their project culminated in New York, where the duo met up to capture the visuals for the ballad while championing each other’s respective crafts in real life.
Check out the video above to see how Colón and Kissi come together creatively, despite physical distance.
