Today, as we all know, is ‘Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day’.
We are remembering and celebrating Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
Kwame Nkrumah is one of the greatest Africans to have ever lived and has been recognised by many people all over the world for his fight for Ghana’s independence and his advocacy for a united Africa.
But, Ghanaians and to a large Africans, are not the only one celebrating this illustrious son of Ghana… people in other parts of the world are also celebrating him today.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen, a football club in Germany is also celebrating Kwame Nkrumah.
