Nothing excites us more than finding new music from extremely talented artistes and giving it to y’all to have a listen.
Last week, we discovered this new artiste called Phronesis.

He dropped a single on Friday titled ‘Streets We Dey’ and 2 minutes into the song, we were all wide-eyed from excitement!
The song is a street anthem that’s basically talking about things that go on in the streets: The need to make it in life, the struggle young people go through, the need to not let the hustle hurt you but rather, focus and keep working hard to make your people proud.
One thing that caught our attention was his effortless delivery. The catchy chorus saying everything is going to be alright as long as we ‘dey’ had us singing along by the time he finished the song.
The motivational song set within the mellow strums of a guitar and drums comes with a beat that is an original reggae type one that sets the tone for the song.
His talent is clear ad we can literally hear him on a song with Stonebwoy or even JDerobie.
Reggae music just might be seeing a fresh breath of change and we are excited about what other stuff he’s got up his sleeve.
The ‘Streets we Dey’ song is a single off his upcoming EP titled Evergreen.
We won’t lie, after listening to this song from him, we are curious about the EP. He did say in an interview that the EP will cut across all genres and that’s enough to keep us glued to his page, waiting to see if he will be consistent or not.
