Stonebwoy And Shatta Wale’s VGMA Trial Set For October 9

It seems we have moved on from the whole Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale fiasco at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

That’s partly due to the Ghanaian nature of moving on after an issue has been discussed for about a week or two.

Maybe we can also say that after landing a Beyonce feature for Shatta Wale and after Stonebowy went on a successful European tour, we might have low key forgiven them.

Most especially when they have already kissed and made up.

However, the state is still moving forward with prosecuting the two music icons for their actions at the awards show.

Today, a court scheduled a trial date for the prosecution of Shatta Wale and Stonebowy.

Come October 9, Shatta Wale and Stonebowy will be expected to appear before a court to stand trial.

The two award-winning dancehall musicians have been charged with issuing threats and using abusive words with the intent to disturb public peace.

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy is facing another count of publicly displaying an Australian gun INFK 158 with butt number AA792002017.

On 9th October, state prosecutors will be expected to call their first witness in the case.
