South Africa Cancels Recruitment Of Foreign Doctors

South Africa has cancelled the recruitment of foreign doctor to wait on nationals at training for immediate employment.

There has been an attack on foreign nationals residing in the country, reasons that their work and housing have been taken over by foreigners. This homicide has been termed a xenophobic attack.

Nationals from Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana and other African countries were tasked to exit the country. Bongani Mkongi, the Deputy police minister, who’s speech is said to have fueled the genocide said, there are cities in the country with over eighty per cent of foreign nationals and that needs to be fixed before a foreigner becomes a president of the nation in the future.

The health department: Health Province of KwaZulu-Natal, Human Resource Management Circular number 63 of 2019, signed by Dr. M Gumede, the acting head: health KwaZulu-Natal has directed that recruitment of foreign nationals into the health sector be halted.
