Be safe when you’re driving out there.
The Ho division of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has issued a travel warning for drivers in the municipality.
According to Ho NADMO, road users plying the Sokode – Akforu-Bame road must divert and use the Anyirawase to Bame instead of Sokode – Bame road.
The diversion is necessary due to the weak nature of the bridge on that stretch of the road.
The bridge is said to be near collapse and therefore, unsafe for use.
